I have always told myself that 1/4 Scale Statues are the biggest I will collect. Lifesize Busts are just too big.. Too expensive.. No space.. Blah Blah Blah..
But like most collectors will tell you, it's just a matter of time. I hereby declare that have succumbed to the temptations of the Lifesize 1:1 Scale Busts..
When PCS first put this up, I just went bonkers! It looked sooo amazing. The level of detail, the realism.. It just looked so life-like. It was a perfect piece.
I saw the Sub Zero Bust before this. That was amazing of course, but it just didn't push me over the edge to splurge the money but Scorpion was on a different level. Also considering that Scorpion is my favourite character in the Mortal Kombat universe after all.

Interestingly, the Bust comes in 2 pieces..
Magnets will hold the mask in place. The switch for the Light-up eyes is also on the mask, so you have to remove it to switch it on.

EX version also gets the Shoulder Pads.
I felt that this was a 'EX-or-Fail' piece but after looking at the Bust without the Shoulder Pads, it's just as amazing. I think that it just goes to show how awesome this piece is.

Can't say enough about this piece. The light-up effect is great but the life-like replication of the white-eyes that Scorpion has, just makes this all the more remarkable.
My first-ever 1:1 Bust is amazing. It cost a bomb but I can happily say that every dollar was worth it.
I'm telling myself no more 1:1 Busts but I already have my eyes on something else now and you shouldn't bet on not seeing another Lifesize Bust in my collection..
