Play Arts' Assassin's Creed Edward Kenway Figure

So I already showed you Connor.. now it's time for the Play Arts Edward Kenway figure..

Comes in a Window Box as well..

This figure comes with a stand too, which I won't be using..

Out of the box..

The Details are great..

Nice touch here, gives the windy effect with the bottom of the coat done like that.

Similar to the Connor figure, there is no alternate head but you will be able to remove the hood to give the figure it's alternate look.

The hair and pulled-back hood accessories..

Attaching the accessories..

The default open hands that the figure comes with..

Let's take a look at the weapon accessories..
Comes with 2 pair of Wrist-Blades..

Retracted..

..and Unleashed.

Comes with 3 extra pairs of switch-out hands

and what do you call this that goes around the wrist..

and now for some sword play!

2 different types of swords, not very sure what the names are for them.

and then for some Gun-play..

2 sets, different types like the game.

So, of course you can place the spare guns in front..

or at the back..

I prefer mine in the front and I have put in the swords as well for my complete display-look.
I like this 'guns raised' pose so will display him like this for now.

Another awesome figure from Play Arts. Details are top-notch again. Face Sculpt is better in this one and he looks less "Asian". I feel this figure looks a bit more alike the character himself as compared to Connor.

However, the weapon accessories seem to be a bit on the short side. I understand that these are the main weapons in the game but they could have 1 or 2 more just for variety. Possibly, a pirate cutlass or some of the odd-looking pistols. Otherwise, Edward Kenway has his hands full.

The Play Arts series wasn't really one of my favourite line of action figures. I know there are lots of collectors who love their figures but some of their paint app and joints have turned me away. I came close to buying the Kratos figure but it was just weird. Their head sculpts also tend to look very "Asian", when the characters are not supposed to be.

The UbiCollectibles line and McFarlane Toys line are still my favourites because of the wide range of Assassins that have been and are being added to the line, but the Play Arts figures takes the win for the details and accessories that are included.

Hoping that the Play Arts line does well for more figures to be added to this line.

Assassin's Creed Unity Elise Figurine Leaked

It's great having friends sharing info with me, so I can share these info to the rest of you guys.

I run this blog on a personal level and don't treat this like some news site. Anything I post here is usually accompanied by my own thoughts and that's how I like it. I want friends here, rather than fans. So, if I get my info from a friend, I give them credit for it, even if they don't run a website, blog or anything like that.

Any opinion given by someone is treated with respect, even if I don't necessarily agree with them. (Anyway, I'm just having a dig at some people, don't mind me.. Lily Mitchell would know who I'm talking about..)

Ok getting to the point.. Lily has shared this pic that she found at the Ubishop. (I can't seem to find it now, must be a different region problem or my eyesight problem).

It's believed to be the previously-rumoured UbiCollectibles figurine of Elise from Assassin's Creed Unity. I have already heard about this about a week back, but like what some Singaporeans say... "No pic, No talk.. (NPNT)".

We already saw the BlackBeard figurine which was part of a diorama with the Edward Kenway figurine in AC IV so it's no huge surprise that AC: Unity might have a similar Diorama.

So who is this Elise? I have yet to see any concrete sources about who this Elise might be. But, there was a Elise Lafleur in AC Liberation, who happens to be French. Timelines of both games suggest that this could be the same Elise, but this is just my guess.

Same Elise or not.. we will be seeing this Elise figurine in the game as well as Figure form. Oh and did I mention the description says, "The Fiery Templar". That raises the question again about what Unity means. The Unity of Assassins and Templars working together towards a common goal or maybe a greater threat?

Either way, Ubisoft is doing a wonderful job of teasing us a little each time.

Edit: Pics are already up courtesy of Access the Animus Facebook Page

Not a lot of detail on the face disappointingly. The BlackBeard one had a lot more detail. Still, I'll b getting it as it looks like she's going to be a crucial part to the game's plot.
