McFarlane Toys' Assassin's Creed Connor 7" Figure Collection Pics

Just got my Assassin's Creed Connor 7" Figure from McFarlane Toys' new Color Tops series..

Having collected all the AC figures from the original 6" line, I wasn't too excited when McFarlane Toys announced a new line in a slightly bigger scale with the same Assassins.

However, the early images looked good and I wanted to check it out for myself.

The figures in the new Color Tops series comes in a windowed-box, that you can display as it is.

The Connor figure is a part of the Red Wave of figures and it's #5 out of the Color Tops Series. The Series itself covers various licenses; The Walking Dead, TitanFall 2, Gears of War 4 etc. You can check out this checklist if you are interested in collecting the lot.

Without having to cut open the packaging, you can just open out the top to take out your figurine.

Pegging the figure to the base..

Ahh yes, the articulation.. 

I was quite curious to know how the articulation would be for this figure. While it's called a 'figure', in all the press photos that were released, I didn't see any other pose for this figure.

There is articulation, but with it being very minimal, there is practically no other pose that you could do for this figure.

Not a complaint for me because I like this pose. It isn't the best but I couldn't get to do a nice pose with the bow & arrow, using the original 6" Connor figures, so this one will do great for me.

Details are great, one of the best you can get for a figure at this price range. No switch-out accessories but again that's down to the pose.

A size comparison to the 6" Arno figure from the original series..

With the base, Connor stands at 8 inches. You can display the figure without the base as well but it gets a bit tricky.

Overall, a very nice figurine, love how it turned out.. Curious to know why they didn't just make a mini statue instead of calling it an action figure but having no options in terms of posing.  

Maybe it's only Connor that comes like this. Will have to wait and see how the other figures in this series turn out. The next wave will see Aguilar from the AC Movie and possibly a Shay Cormac further down the line. Will be getting those as well.
