Drawn to Death is without doubt the game of the month. This game is the newest baby of legendary David Jaffe, who was also the mastermind behind the Twisted Metal series & the first 2 God of War games.
I'm a big fan of those games, so quite eager to try this out.
In terms of game-play, however, the game looks quite similar to Overwatch and games of the MOBA-esque genre. It also is of the same style as his own Twisted Metal games.
David Jaffe is aware of this but is also confident that this game stands apart from those games. One of the things that David also said about the game..
Regarding the potential of a weapon progression system, Jaffe says "skill should be the only determining factor. If you've been playing this for a year, and I just come in and I'm awesome at these types of games, the only reason you should win is you know the map better and are more comfortable muscle memory wise. It should never be because you have better weapons."
Definitely, I think this is worth a try. I mean why not? It is free after all so it won't hurt to spend a couple of hours in this and see how you like it.
Also, don't forget to download last month's games before it's too late.
